Situación en América bajo el enfoque de las 5P del Desarrollo Sostenible como herramienta para orientar políticas públicas

Resumen

Las 5P del Desarrollo Sostenible suelen referirse a las dimensiones económicas, sociales y medioambientales de la sostenibilidad: personas, prosperidad, paz, planeta y alianzas. En este contexto el problema de investigación fue proponer una metodología para identificar la situación en el continente americano en el logro del desarrollo sostenible bajo el enfoque de las 5P, utilizando índices de calidad pertinente que refieren a dicho desarrollo sostenible y fueron elaborados en años recientes, de 2020 a 2023, acorde a su disponibilidad. La metodología utilizada en esta investigación fue cuantitativa, documental y descriptiva; se utilizaron índices de desarrollo sostenible estratégicamente seleccionados, se analizaron cuantitativamente sus resultados y se normalizaron con el fin de proponer una metodología para identificar el grado de avance en el logro del desarrollo sostenible de los países de América, con objeto de replicar este tipo de análisis en otros contextos geoeconómicos.
