Impacto del conocimiento en las actitudes preventivas contra la COVID-19 en Locumba, 2022

Resumo
Objetivo: Determinar si los conocimientos y actitudes por la COVID-19 de los pobladores de Locumba están asociados con las medidas de prevención por dicha enfermedad. Método: La población de estudio estuvo constituida por todos los residentes de Locumba mayores de edad. Se utilizó un muestreo simple aleatorio para muestras finitas (n = 321). Se utilizaron dos encuestas que evaluaron el conocimiento y la actitud. Resultados: En total, 245 de los pobladores, que representan el 76.56 % de la muestra total, cumplen con las condiciones para tener una categoría de “Conoce”; es decir, respondieron correctamente como mínimo cinco preguntas correctas a más. El 72.81 % de los pobladores residentes de Locumba presentan actitudes favorables hacia las medidas de prevención de la COVID-19, un 27.19 % presentó actitudes medianamente favorables y no se encontró ningún poblador con actitudes desfavorables. Se utilizó la prueba estadística no paramétrica ji al cuadrado de Pearson. Se observa que se obtuvo un p valor (Sig. = 0.000), cuyo resultado es menor que α = 0.05. Conclusión: Existe una relación entre los conocimientos y actitudes de los pobladores de Locumba; es decir, a un buen conocimiento sobre la COVID-19 le corresponde una mejor actitud frente a la COVID-19 en los pobladores de Locumba, en 2022.
