Impacto de la luz artificial en la salud y conciencia ambiental activa del entorno nocturno en pobladores de Tacna

El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar la relación entre el conocimiento del impacto de la luz artificial en la salud y la conciencia ambiental activa del entorno nocturno en pobladores de Tacna, mediante un enfoque cuantitativo aplicado a una muestra de 383 participantes. Los resultados revelaron una relación estadísticamente significativa entre las variables, respaldada por un valor de Chi-cuadrado de Pearson de 73,10. Dado que el nivel de significación resultó menor a 0,05, se confirma que un mayor nivel de conocimiento sobre el impacto de la luz artificial en la salud se vincula directamente con una conciencia ambiental más activa. Sin embargo, se identificó una brecha crítica, ya que el 46,48 % de los participantes presentó un bajo nivel de conocimiento sobre dicho impacto, lo que se refleja en la reducida prevalencia de conciencia ambiental activa del entorno nocturno con un 11,49 % de los participantes. En este sentido, el principal aporte de la investigación radica en demostrar que el conocimiento sobre los impactos negativos de la luz artificial constituye un factor determinante para el fortalecimiento de la conciencia ambiental activa del entorno nocturno.
